My Quarantine Playlist

Hello, lovelies! Today, I’m sharing a short post about my quarantine playlist. I wrote a post like this in 2017 when I took a bunch of trips. I’m really glad I documented that travel playlist and thought quarantine deserves it’s own version after the crazy few months it’s been. I’ll try to add some writing in between videos to give some context. I hope you enjoy!

//Dynasty by Miia

I’m pretty sure I listened to this because there are a lot of fan-edits to this song and I really like it.

//Home by Dotan

//Got It In you by BANNERS

//Someone To Stay by Vancouver Sleep

//Unsteady by X Ambassadors

I watched the movie Me Before You, which features this song. The song also came out in my senior year of high school and I listened to it all the time back then. It’s funny that I listened to it on repeat again in my senior year of college.

//Million Reasons by Lady Gaga (KHS Cover)

I also love the original.

//If The World Was Ending (Acoustic Cover) by Hannah Ellis & Nick Wayne

This was like a big TikTok song a few months ago. I haven’t heard it there in awhile. I like this acoustic cover more than the original.

//Rest of Us by Blake Rose

//Black & White by Devon Werkheiser

Do you guys remember Ned from Ned’s Declassified? I had no idea that he made music! I found out about this song through Instagram. He wrote it a few years ago when he was offered to sing the national anthem at an NFL game, but he felt off about doing it and said he’d sing it but would wear a Black Lives Matter shirt while doing it. His agents and everyone kept advising him not to do it, so this song is about him being pissed off about that. (He didn’t sing at the NFL game). I heard him talk about this in an Instagram story and looked up the song.

//Modern Loneliness by Lauv

I heard this song in a vlog.

//Two by Sleeping At Last

//I don’t want to watch the world end with someone else by Clifton Kane

//Troye Sivan Blue Neighborhood Album

I listened to this album so much at the beginning of quarantine. I would have different favorite songs from the album each month. I definitely want to hear him in concert one day.

Top 5 Favorite  Songs (In No Particular Order)

//Worldwide (2020) by Big Time Rush

I loved this band when I was a kid, but I didn’t really like the original version of this song. The band came together to sing this song via Zoom a few months ago and I loved it. I definitely prefer this version over the other and I’d be over the moon if they got back together like the Jonas Brothers.

//Between Twilight by Lindsay Stirling

//Hamilton Soundtrack

I mean…isn’t this in everyone’s quarantine playlist?

Top 5 Favorite  Songs (In No Particular Order)

(This list changes all the time TBH)

//Not Today by Imagine Dragons

I started listening to this after watching the movie Me Before You.

//Strawberries & Cigarettes by Troye Sivan

//Folklore Album by Taylor Swift

I was so excited when she announced this album. I haven’t loved one of her albums this much since Red. I’ve listened to it in its entirety so many times. It’s so cozy and calming. Every time it rains, I want to turn it on.

Top 5 Favorite  Songs (In No Particular Order)

//WOW by Zara Larson

This song was in the Netflix dance movie Work It and my favorite dance number in the movie was to this song.

//Requiem from Dear Evan Hanson performed by Mallory Bechtel

I just love this rendition of the song. I’m sure I’ve included it in one of my favorites posts in the past.

And I guess that’s it. I’m sure I missed some songs here and there (Especially since I went through an Eminem phase where I only listened to his rap music at one point). I just based this list off of the songs I downloaded these past few months from YouTube. I hope you enjoyed this short but sweet post. Until next time!
